The Valentine's story

Whether it's Valentine's or Galentine's you're celebrating this year, it's the perfect excuse to treat yourself and wear something special. At NFD we have curated and designed some of our favourite ever Valentine's looks and rejuvenated some classics for the occasion. The union of pink and red is of course a staple of ours at NFD and what better way to start the year then with these iconic looks!

Let's all take a moment for the beautiful Red Lipstick Emma Dress. This dress was made for a night of love and fun! The print itself was imagined from a trip to the city of love itself, Paris, by our design team. At NFD HQ we have a 'the more you look, the more you see' approach to our designs, we always design with the intent of looking beyond just the surface. The lipstick print is a prime example, some of the cases have hints of our logo and snake motifs, pairing together our favourite combination of femininity with a hint of edginess. 

As a designer I am not even going to act coy and deny that this red suit isn't a work of art because it is! The intricacy of the bespoke lace, designed in house, in a contrast rosy pink adds so much elegance to this tailored look. Red is the colour and is not going anywhere this year! This particular shade of red I can confirm looks gorgeous on absolutely every wearer. This suit is so versatile and can be worn all year round, especially with the matching Sol Bandeau Top in the summer. 

 

Look familiar? If you are an OG NFD shopper you might have seen this pattern before or you maybe you missed it because it sold out instantly! This year we wanted to bring it back and give it new life in this stunning three piece suit. The combination of pink and red hues in a stripe makes for a perfect February palette. The slight shimmer really brings the style alive in the winter sun and would also look gorgeous on a destination holiday. The ultimate day to night outfit!

 

If in doubt, wear sequin! Our silver sequin is too iconic not to own, let it catch and glimmer in the sunlight like a disco ball. One of my favourite sequin styles has to be the Sequin Jem Dress, the effortlessly cool silhouette paired with the decadent all over sequin is seriously gorgeous. Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting new sequin colours in our key shapes coming this Spring/Summer!
